Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Doug (the "Service"), operated by General Endeavour Holdings, LLC, dba Doug ("we", "us"). By texting the Service or using its dashboard, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Doug is a fantasy football assistant. It reads publicly available data about your fantasy leagues, combines it with information you give it, and answers your questions over SMS and through a web dashboard.

It is an opinion generator, not an oracle. Its answers are produced by an AI language model and may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for every roster decision you make. Nothing the Service says is financial, investment, legal, tax, or gambling advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Service is offered in the United States and is not directed to anyone under 13.

3. Text messaging

By sending your phone number to the Service or texting it, you consent to receive text messages from it at that number.
Message frequency varies and depends on how often you text and what alerts you enable. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop messages. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
The Service answers only phone numbers that have been authorized for it. Messages from other numbers are ignored.

4. Your league data

You give us a Sleeper username, and we read the public league data associated with it. We never ask for your Sleeper password and cannot make changes to your leagues, set your lineup, or accept trades on your behalf. Everything the Service does is read-only with respect to third-party platforms.

You are responsible for the content you add — notes about players, notes about the people in your leagues, and the instructions you give the Service. Do not put anything in those fields you would not want stored.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service to harass, defame, or abuse anyone, including the other managers in your leagues;
attempt to gain access to accounts, data, or systems that are not yours;
scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service's outputs as your own product;
use the Service for betting or wagering where doing so is unlawful where you are;
interfere with the Service's operation, or use it in a way that violates your carrier's terms or any applicable law.

6. Third-party services and trademarks

The Service depends on third parties, including Sleeper for league data, FantasyCalc for community trade values, Anthropic for AI processing, and Twilio for messaging. We do not control them, and outages or changes on their side may break or degrade the Service without notice.

Doug is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper, FantasyCalc, the National Football League, or any of its teams. All trademarks belong to their owners.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided as-is and may change, break, or stop entirely. We may modify or discontinue it, in whole or in part, at any time without liability to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ITS OUTPUTS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST LEAGUE WINNINGS, OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS OR USD $50.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by replying STOP and asking us to delete your data. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
