Privacy Policy
Effective August 6, 2026
This policy describes what Doug, operated by General Endeavour Holdings, LLC, dba Doug, collects and what it does with it. It is written to describe the system as actually built.
What we collect
- Your phone number, so the Service knows where to text and whose messages to answer.
- The content of your messages, both what you send and what Doug sends back. These are stored so he can remember your recent conversation.
- Your Sleeper username and the public league data attached to it: league settings, rosters, standings, transactions, traded picks, and the display names and team names of the other managers in your leagues.
- What you write in the dashboard: notes on players, notes on managers, names and nicknames you assign them, per-league notes, and your settings.
- Basic server logs, including the phone number of anyone who texts the Service. We keep these to stop abuse of the messaging endpoint.
What we do not collect
- No payment card numbers, bank details, or government identifiers.
- No Sleeper password. The Service uses Sleeper's public read-only API.
- No advertising identifiers, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. This website makes no external requests at all — no fonts, no scripts, no images loaded from anywhere else.
- No location data beyond the timezone you set yourself.
How we use it
Only to run the Service: to answer your questions, to keep your league data current, and — if you turn it on — to send you alerts about things that change in your leagues. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Who we share it with
The Service sends the parts of your data needed to answer a question to the providers that make it work:
- Anthropic processes your message text, your league data, and your notes to generate replies. Anthropic's API does not use this data to train its models.
- Twilio transmits the text messages themselves and therefore handles your phone number and message content.
- Sleeper and FantasyCalc receive read requests for public data. We do not send them anything about you beyond the league and player identifiers needed to fetch it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Your phone number and your consent to receive text messages are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. We may disclose information if legally required to.
How long we keep it
Message history, notes, and league data are stored in a database and kept until you ask us to delete them. Email [email protected] and we will delete your messages, notes, and settings.
Where it lives and how it's protected
Data is stored in a single database on a server we control, reachable only over HTTPS. The dashboard is protected by an admin token, held in a first-party cookie for the sole purpose of keeping you signed in — it is not used for tracking. Inbound text messages are verified as genuinely from Twilio before they are processed, and messages from unauthorized numbers are ignored.
No system is perfectly secure, and this one is a small personal service rather than an enterprise platform. Please do not send it anything sensitive.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts.
- Email [email protected] to request a copy of your data or have it deleted.
- Clear any note or setting yourself from the dashboard at any time.
Other people in your leagues
The Service stores public display names and team names of other managers in your leagues, plus any notes you choose to write about them. Those notes are visible only to you and are used only to answer your questions. Please be decent about what you write.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
